NBA All-Star Weekend is complete. Which stars showed out in Indianapolis?

The festivities started on Friday with the celebrity and Rising Stars games, while Saturday brought the skills. The weekend culminated with Sunday's NBA All-Star Game, which returned to the traditional East vs. West format for the 2023-24 season.

All-Star Game

Hope you like points! This season's All-Star Game had more of them than any in NBA history. Led by game MVP Damian Lillard, the Eastern Conference All-Stars outran the West, 211-186.

The NBA released its 10 All-Star starters on Jan. 25, with Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James capturing his record 20th appearance.

Fan ballots accounted for 50% of the vote to determine All-Star starters, while players and the media each accounted for 25%.

All-Star reserves

NBA commissioner Adam Silver picked Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young and Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes as injury replacements for Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid and New York Knicks forward Julius Randle.


All-Star Saturday night

Team Pacers defended home court in the skills contest, while Damian Lillard (3-point contest) and G Leaguer Mac McClung (dunk contest) won their second straight titles. Also, in a first-ever All-Star event, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry outdueled New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu in the Steph vs. Sabrina competition.

Led by Rising Stars MVP Bennedict Mathurin, Team Jalen overpowered the upset-minded G Leaguers of Team Detlef in the final as the league's best young players showcased their talents on All-Star Friday night.
