The 2023 NBA trade deadline witnessed another frantic finish.
After the league saw no trades go down in October, November and December, the Boston Celtics and San Antonio Spurs finally broke the seal in January with a minor move that helped lower the Celtics' luxury tax bill.
Then things really got going a few weeks later when the Los Angeles Lakers acquired Rui Hachimura from the Washington Wizards for Kendrick Nunn and three second-round picks. The Lakers weren't done as they added D'Angelo Russell, Jarred Vanderbilt and Malik Beasley in a three-team deal with the Jazz and Timberwolves that saw Utah landing Russell Westbrook.
And the the Brooklyn Nets have changed over their roster, moving star forward Kevin Durant to the Phoenix Suns in a blockbuster trade and trading guard Kyrie Irving to the Dallas Mavericks.
