Sacramento Kings players and coaches met Tuesday to discuss issues related to from their 1-7 start to the season.
DeMarcus Cousins had said Monday, following the Kings' sixth straight loss, 106-88 to the San Antonio Spurs, that the Kings would have a players-only meeting Tuesday as, "we've got some issues in the house we need to figure out."
General manager Vlade Divac and Caron Butler said Tuesday that both players and coaches were in the meeting.
"When you have a problem in the family, you address it, you talk about it," Divac said. "I was pleased the way we talked about it, ultimately."
Divac described the tenor of the meeting as "respectable."
Butler also used the term "family" to describe the Kings and went into some of the specific issues the Kings addressed in the meeting.
"You have to talk about things you see and address things that you want to get better, could be better," he said. "You know, starting with our effort and playing together and better on defense. Taking care of the ball better. Being honest with ourselves.
"Everyone spoke, and we got to move forward."
Coach George Karl isn't expected to talk to the media until Wednesday, when the Kings host the Detroit Pistons.
