HAMILTON, N.Y. -- — Ryan Moffatt had 14 points in top-seeded Colgate's 81-64 victory over eighth-seeded Holy Cross on Thursday night in the Patriot League Tournament.
Moffatt shot 4 of 8 from the field, including 2 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 4 for 5 from the line for the Raiders (23-9), who host fifth-seeded Bucknell in a semifinal game on Sunday. Keegan Records scored 13 points and added seven rebounds. Braeden Smith went 5 of 12 from the field (1 for 5 from 3-point range) to finish with 12 points, while adding seven rebounds and eight assists.
Joseph Octave led the Crusaders (9-23) in scoring, finishing with 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Caleb Kenney added 14 points, seven rebounds and two blocks for Holy Cross. Bo Montgomery had 11 points.
