PKL 9 stats: Pardeep Narwal's stunning 22, Telugu Titans' unlucky 13

Siddarth Desai in action against U Mumba. PKL

From Pardeep Narwal's 22-point raiding masterclass to Bengaluru Bulls' three-game winning streak and Telugu Titans' 13th loss, the last week of the Pune leg of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 9) had a bit of everything. Here are the highlights of week six of PKL 9, in numbers -

UP Yoddhas are riding on a three-game winning run, the first time they've won so many games in succession. Those 15 crucial points see them leapfrog into the fourth spot on the table. Bengaluru Bulls have also won three games on the trot and lead the standings.

Siddharth Desai has scored five successive Super 10s and Vishal Bharadwaj has five Super Tackles, but there has been no change in Telugu Titans' fortunes.

10

Only 10 points separate the top-six teams. Bengaluru Bulls have 51, while 6th placed Patna Pirates have 41. This has all the makings for a cracker of a final phase of the season!

13

Telugu Titans have lost 13 of their 14 games, picked up just nine points and have a score difference of -150. They must be hoping their luck turns and can at least see out a couple of wins now that the League is heading back home to Hyderabad.

22

Points that Pardeep Narwal scored against Dabang Delhi on Wednesday. His best performance of the season and perhaps his best show in the UP Yoddhas jersey. For context, Dabang Delhi's entire raiding unit managed 23 points.

25

Dabang Delhi was handed a solid drubbing by Jaipur Pink Panthers as they lost by 25 points. Arjun Deshwal and Rahul Chaudhari ran berserk, while the Dabang Delhi players kept getting tagged and running back to the bench. It was the biggest loss margin of the week.

We have a new leader on the most raid points list as Arjun Deshwal bags the green sleeve [awarded to the raider with the highest raid points]. The Jaipur Pink Panthers raider has been in fine form this season and pipped Naveen Kumar to the top. He averages 11.5 raid points per game.

51

Another table-topper from Jaipur Pink Panthers as Ankush takes the orange sleeve [awarded to the defender with the most tackle points.] The left corner is the first defender to cross the 50 tackle points mark this season and also has a league-high 48 successful tackles and four High 5s.
