AL West v. NL Central

Doesn't it seem odd that the AL West consists of 4 teams in its division (the least amount in MLB) while on the other hand, the NL Central consists of 6 teams in its division (the most in MLB). All other divisions of course consist of 5 teams. Now, I just don't see how this makes sense! How is it fair to the NL Central? Each team in the Central has to compete against 5 other teams for the division title, while majority of the teams have to compete against 4, and of course you have the AL West, in which teams only compete against 3 teams. Why not make each division in MLB consist of 5 major league teams? That seems to be the most logical. Look at the NFL; they have 4 teams in each division! Ryan Dempster coming off the DL lastnight and the Chicago Cubs squared off against the Houston Astros. Here's the report - HOU took as early four nothing lead but the cubs hung in there with the big bats of the entire team last night. It soon became four to three Astros. The Astros struck again with a two run shot to make it 6-3. The cubs were down but not out with "Am Ram" up to bat and two guys on base he takes one to the house and tied it up six to six. (he's back) Blum of the astros up to bat he hits a line out of there. Astros get five not gving any for the rest of the game. HOU 11-CHC 6 that is You're final score. Cubs play today @ 1 central time vs. the Astros you can catch it on WGN.

The Mets take two of three from Colarado

The Mets beat Colarado tonight putting themselves ONLY five and a half games back of the wild card. I think the Mets have no hopes for the playoffs this season. If I was in control of the organization first I would fire Jerry Manuel the manager, then go after Roy Halladay. Roy's contract expires at the end of next season so he would be great for next season. Santana and Halladay would easily be the best 1,2 combination in baseball.

Ok no effense to Mr. Josh Willingham, but ive never heard of you before last night. Its probably cause you play for the Nats though so dont worry bout that. Anyway, i'm really impressed that he did this, to come up with the bases loaded twice is cool, but to hit TWO Grannys. AMAZING. Hats off to you Mr. Willingham.
