Evgeni Malkin for MVP?

pittsburghfan10

By pittsburghfan10
This year in the NHL, no one has helped their team more than Evgeni Malkin. Malkin is the league's leading scorer and has just eclipsed the 30 goal mark (first Penguin this season to do so). He has contributed so much to the Penguins organization in the short time he has been here. Last year Malkin, and Sidney Crosby, led the Penguins to an NHL Finals appearance. The Pens are making a strong case this year as they are tied for 6th in the East and none of it would be possible without the sure hands and sniper of a shot of Evgeni Malkin. Flyers Trade Upshall

PhillyPhactor

By PhillyPhactor
Recently, the Philadelphia Flyers traded Scottie Upshall for trash. This new guy, who's name I refuse to mention. We're talking about a defenseman who leads the league in penalty minutes and doesn't even free up enough space in the salary for another good player. This is certainly a mistake by the Flyers.
What do you think? Did the Flyers make a mistake?
