Loberg looking to bring down the Barn

Each weekday, ESPN RISE brings you five vital stats from athletes across the country.

Katie Loberg is one of the best girls basketball players in the nation. The 6-4 Princeton (Minn.) senior averaged 22.4 points, 13.5 rebounds and 5 blocks as a junior, including 20 double-doubles, two triple-doubles, and a 48-point outburst, which set a school record. She will continue her basketball career at the University of Minnesota and talks about her five favorite things about the school.

1. Coaching staff
"They're all really, really friendly. They all seem like a big family. Every time I'm there I feel like it's my second home."

2. Intensity in the Barn
"It's very loud. They usually fill the whole bottom section, so there are like 10,000 people there every game. They always have fun things to do there too, like fun halftime shows. But I won't get to watch those anymore."

3. The fans
"All the fans are so up with you. They help turn the game around. They're really supportive. It's really fun to be there with them."

4. Campus
"It's really pretty and the buildings are really old. The first thing I saw was the Barn, and it was huge. I've never been in anything that big in my life. They're also getting a new football stadium this year, and I'm really excited for that."

5. City
"I've always loved the city. I'm kind of a small town girl so to be in the city will be great. There's always something going on there. With the cities, it's more alive and there's more energy."
