Riley got game

Each weekday, ESPN RISE brings you five vital stats from athletes across the country.

Detroit Country Day (Beverly Hills, Mich.) senior center DaShonte Riley wants to be famous. Since his first years playing basketball, Riley has received inspiration not only from star players, but also from the storylines and actors of his favorite basketball movies. Check out the top five list from the nation's No. 5 big man.

1 "He Got Game"
"Inspirational. No explanation necessary."

2. "Above the Rim"
"When I'm tired after practice, I close my eyes and think to myself, whatever I'm going through, it's not nearly what that kid went through. It pushes me."

3. "Hoop Dreams"
"This one relates to me as these ball players not only have to dedicate their time to improving their game, but also to religion and academics."

4. "White Men Can't Jump"
"Kept me laughing the whole time. Taught me to never judge a book by its cover."

5. "Coach Carter"
"Like Coach Carter, my coach (Kurt Keener) inspires me to be the best. I wouldn't be here without him."
