Coaches, family lift Moser to the top

Each weekday, ESPN RISE brings you five vital stats from athletes across the country. The series kicks off with Oregon baller Mike Moser.

Rated the No. 78 boys' basketball recruit in the ESPNU 100, Grant (Portland, Ore.) senior forward Mike Moser has committed to Arizona. Described as a gym rat, Moser let us know the top five things that are integral to his success on the hardwood.

1. Shoes
"I honestly think a lot of your swagger has to come from your kicks. You can't just step on the court with some busted kicks."

2. Shooting
"I think a lot of your confidence has to come from your shot."

3. My high school coach, Tony Broadous
"He's always trying to push me and I get frustrated at times, but I know it's good for me."

4. My trainer and AAU coach, Kumbeno Memory
"He gives me a good balance of working on basketball and my body."

5. My mom, Jeanne Moser
"Even after all the hard days, workouts and practices, she's always there to support me."
