Every day, we provide you with the best players to target in your daily fantasy hoops leagues, from high-priced stars to solid midrange values to cheaper, riskier players who carry upside.
In general, you want to use safer options in your cash games and rely on some riskier, high-upside options in your bigger tournaments. If you can average at least five points per $1,000 of salary, you'll typically end up with at least some cash in your pocket.
Both DraftKings and FanDuel feature a two-game main slate that begins at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, so you won't find the earlier games included in today's breakdown.

Point guard
High-priced stars
Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers (DK: $8,700, FD: $9,000) at MIN: This high-volume scoring guard has lofted 38 shots over the past two games and presents real upside against a Wolves team that has surrendered the fifth-most fantasy points per game to point guards on DraftKings this season. The Vegas ingredients for this game are also inviting, as we could see a good deal of points scored in Minnesota tonight.
Solid values
Jeff Teague, Minnesota Timberwolves (DK: $5,800, FD: $5,500) vs. POR: It's rare to find Teague at this modest price point, so I want to capitalize on this window for value given he just played 32 minutes on Friday night and has exceeded value in three of the past four games.
Darren Collison, Indiana Pacers (DK: $5,300, FD: $5,100) at PHX: The Suns are among the best matchups for opposing point guards, which helps support a path to exceeding value for Collison tonight. With at least 28 fantasy points in two of the past three games and this choice matchup, Collison is a viable pivot at point guard to consider.
Shooting guard
High-priced stars
Victor Oladipo, Indiana Pacers (DK: $9,400, FD: $9,300) at PHX: The Suns are third in the league in pace, which is simply possessions per 48 minutes, and 27th in defensive rating, which measures points allowed per 100 possessions. This is to say that Phoenix is an ideal matchup for Oladipo, a player I'm comfortable projecting for at least 35 minutes with a usage around 30 percent tonight. Even though this is a shallow two-game evening slate, there are some intriguing high-ceiling players to consider, with Oladipo chief among them.
Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns (DK: $8,500, FD: $8,000) vs. IND: The Pacers have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points per game to shooting guards, which helps Booker's prospects given he's due for a usage rate around 30 percent and a heavy allotment of shots and minutes. I'm honestly shocked how good this two-game Sunday slate looks in the backcourt with the likes of Booker and Lillard available at somewhat affordable pricing.
Solid values
Andrew Wiggins, Minnesota Timberwolves (DK: $6,200, FD: $6,200) vs. POR: I admittedly don't often roster Wiggins given his relatively low ceiling. Without great defensive or distribution upside, it's all about scoring with this talented wing. While he's a bit dependent on his shot falling to exceed value, I do dig that he faces a soft defensive backcourt and has averaged 19 shots per game over the past four outings. We simply must be more forgiving of flaws on such shallow slates.
Small forward
Solid values
TJ Warren, Phoenix Suns (DK: $6,600, FD: $7,500) vs. IND: The Pacers have ceded nearly 49 fantasy points per game to small forwards on FanDuel's scoring model over the past 10 games, fourth most in the league over this sample. Warren, meanwhile, is consuming a career-high usage rate (an estimate of team plays an individual player executes while on the floor) at 25.9 percent. Warren also shines when evaluating raw opportunity rates, as he's taken a robust 18.3 shots per game over the past eight, leading to 22.9 PPG in the process. Since this is a shallow two-game evening slate, getting high-floor producers like Warren on DraftKings could prove rewarding. The Wolves' Jimmy Butler certainly merits consideration given his stellar floor game in a choice matchup, but I prefer pairing Oladipo and Lillard at cheaper pricing than him tonight.
Cheap with upside
Josh Jackson, Phoenix Suns (DK: $4,200, FD: $4,200) vs. IND: Coming off one the best offensive performances of his career, we find Jackson as an intriguing contrarian play given such low pricing and real upside for more than 25 minutes of exposure.
Power forward
Solid values
Domantas Sabonis, Indiana Pacers (DK: $6,700, FD: $6,800) at PHX: Hot from the field of late with at least 17 points in four of the past five, Sabonis complements this efficient scoring pattern with impressive upside on the glass. The Suns, meanwhile, are 27th in rebounding percentage over the past 10 games.
Thaddeus Young, Indiana Pacers (DK: $5,400, FD: $5,900) at PHX: I'm down with stacking this pairing of forwards given how friendly this matchup with Phoenix appears. Young offers 35 minutes and enough defensive upside to counter his low usage rate.
Cheap with upside
Dragan Bender, Phoenix Suns (DK: $4,800, FD: $4,100) vs. IND: Enjoying the best stretch of his young career, Bender is finally getting heavy minutes and is responding with awesome efficiency. It might be a mirage, or it might be the start of a positive trend. Given the low price and the shallow pool at power forward today, I'm game to take on the risks associated with this young forward.
Center
High-priced stars
Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota Timberwolves (DK: $9,200, FD: $9,400) vs. IND: "KAT" is on a double-double bender over the past eight games and has averaged a sick slash of 19.5 points, 14.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game over this torrid stretch. The Blazers have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to centers on the season, while we can confidently project 35 minutes for the Wolves' gifted big, which equates to a stable floor for Towns today. Simply put, it's difficult to avoid Towns and his prolific ceiling amid this small slate.
Solid values
Jusuf Nurkic, Portland Trail Blazers (DK: $6,500, FD: $6,700) at MIN: Quickly ascending as one of the league's best trash talkers, Nurkic is also providing production in the box score of late. With a usage rate that regularly tops 25 percent, Nurkic is in a nice spot in Minnesota tonight.
Cheap with upside
Tyson Chandler, Phoenix Suns (DK: $4,400, FD: $4,800) vs. IND: This savvy vet is 21st in the NBA in rebounding chances per game, which measures being within 3.5 of available rebounds. With steady minutes of late and a meeting with the Pacers ranked 17th in rebounding rate over the past 10 games, Chandler offers solid savings at center today.
