Team Liquid added Eugene "Pobelter" Park as a positional coach for 2020.
The 23-year-old American was a mid laner with the League of Legends powerhouse from 2017-18 before spending most of 2019 with FlyQuest.
Team Liquid announced the transaction Tuesday on Twitter.
After his contract with FlyQuest expired, Pobelter expressed his frustration with trying to land another job but insisted he wasn't ready to retire.
"I don't think I've hit my ceiling yet," he tweeted last month. "I think you only start to fall off permanently when your motivation / drive drops, and I'm still just as motivated as the first day I played on the LCS stage and willing to put in 12+ hours a day practicing."
