Dota 2: EHOME claim final Chongqing Major spot

EHOME claimed the final spot in next week's 16-team Chongqing Major in China by beating Gambit Esports 3-1 in Sunday's grand final of the Bucharest Minor in Bucharest, Romania.

EHOME, the fourth Chinese team to secure a spot in Chongqing, dropped only one game during their dominant 11-1 run in the minor. That lone loss came to Gambit, who were nearly as strong in the event until running in to EHOME, who also beat Gambit 2-0 on Saturday's upper-bracket finals.

"We are champions of the Bucharest Minor after a 3-1 victory over Gambit, and have as such qualified for the Chongqing Major later this month!" EHOME tweeted. "See you there!"

Gambit, who beat Keen in the lower-bracket final to set up the rematch against EHOME, are next scheduled to compete at ESL One Katowice on Feb. 22-24 in Katowice, Poland.

The five-day, eight-team Bucharest tournament was the second minor of the Dota Pro Circuit season. EHOME pockets $125,000 and 120 points pro-circuit points (which go toward qualification in The International 2019).
