In a statement posted to TwitLonger, Luis "Peacemaker" Tadeu announced he would be parting ways with Team Liquid's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster as coach. Citing disagreements about "business principles," Tadeu states that he will be exploring other opportunities and wishes Team Liquid well.
Team Liquid has published its own statement on the matter, echoing Tadeu's sentiments of a disagreement on business principles. Steve "Joka" Perino, current team manager of Team Liquid's CS:GO roster, will be filling in as interim head coach during the upcoming ESL ESEA Pro League Season 4 Finals in São Paulo, Brazil.
Though Tadeu was only recently hired this past May, Liquid's results during his tenure were high marks for the year. Under Tadeu, Team Liquid placed second at ESL One Cologne, and took third/fourth at ESL One: New York, two of the highest premier placings for the team in 2016.
In his statement, Tadeu says, "I am not done with my career, and I look forward to continue coaching in the near future."
