ANX looks primed to advance with victory over CLG

Albux Nox Luna descend from the stage after taking down G2 Esports. Provided by Riot Games

A clean game led to a clean victory for Albus Nox Luna, the impressive team from Russia, as Counter Logic Gaming stumbled once again against the wildcard. CLG drops to 2-2 in Group A, while Albus sits at 3-1.

A cautious game at first, CLG tried to make openings but faltered each time, with Albus finding the correct response to counter. An overaggressive bottom lane featuring Trevor "Stixxay" Hayes and Zaqueri "Aphromoo" Black fed a few kills to their patient opponents.

In three out of four games, Albus has taken First Blood, first tower and first dragon, an impressive piece of trivia. After a Baron at 25-minutes, Albus was up 9-2 in kills and nearly 7.5k gold. Two inhibitors fell in one push, and at 29:57, the nexus fell.
