Falcons lose another strong safety as Johnathan Cyprien was placed on IR with a foot injury. Cyprien played one game vs. Texans after being acquired in a trade from Eagles in exchange for Duke Riley and a 6th-round draft pick. Cyprien played 24 snaps on defense, 3 on special teams and did not leave the Houston game with an injury. The team acquired Cyprien after starting SS Keanu Neal suffered a season-ending Achilles’ tear. Also lost safety J.J. Wilcox to ACL in preseason. More Kemal Ishmael?
