The Lions have re-signed RB Zach Zenner to a one-year deal. Zenner was placed on injured reserve and cut early last year before re-signing in November. In 2017, he was inactive for games at the start of last season before catching on after injuries hit Detroit. He could end up being the team's No. 2/3 running back along with pass-catching specialist Theo Riddick, sharing time behind Kerryon Johnson. Zenner also offers special teams value. Zenner had a market of a handful of teams but chose to stay in Detroit -- the place he's been his entire career.
