Former heavyweight world titlist Joseph Parker has been ill for much of the last week and unable to train – he and his team believe it was caused by a spider bite – so he has withdrawn from a fight with Dereck Chisora that was scheduled to take place on Oct. 26 at the O2 Arena in London, multiple sources told ESPN on Tuesday. Parker is underdoing tests to determine the exact nature of his illness, one source said. The fight was due to be the co-feature of the junior welterweight world title unification fight between Regis Prograis and Josh Taylor in the final of the World Boxing Super Series tournament. According to one of the sources, the search is on for a new opponent to face Chisora.
