11.34am Well, that's a fantastic declaration in my opinion. Excellent impetus this morning, thanks to a brilliantly paced century from Rob Yates, and Rhodes has pulled them out with, I think 79 overs left to bowl in this innings. A target of 273 is tasty in the extreme. Matt Roller will be here shortly for the business end of the County Championship title fight!

Martin the York: "Looking forward to Tim Bresnan bowling Warwickshire to victory "

Dave: "Thanks for making me look like the oracle..." Any time ...

Davey to Yates, 1 run, dug out for the single, and sure enough, that is the declaration!

Dave: "That lead of 280 at lunch might be 280 and bowling *before* lunch... Surely they have to go for broke now and give themselves as many overs as possible?" Indeed... I don't think we'll be far away now. Maybe time to push for a round 300 as an insurance, though I think dangling the carrot would be wiser...

Davey to Yates, 1 wide, wide and too full.

Davey to Yates, FOUR, leg-sided, and timed to perfection! Hauled around the corner, aiming for the yorker, and boshed behind square

2
Davey to Yates, 2 runs, very full, clobbered into the covers, two more to the total and that's got Warks moving again
50.3
6
Davey to Yates, SIX, round the wicket, into the arc for a hoist over the leg side... it's top-edged a touch, but carried well over backward square's head!
50.2
4
Davey to Yates, FOUR, very full, thick outside edge, can't protect those. The miscues are a good source of boundaries at the moment

0
Davey to Yates, no run, wide yorker, very wide, but not wide enough to be called wide...
