That's it from this game. Thank you for tuning in. See you again tomorrow with more PSL action. Ciao!
Faheem Ashraf, Player of the Match: Pitch was totally different today, length ball was bouncing more than usual. This is not what we usually see in PSL across different pitches in Pakistan. I'm always ready to bowl at any stage of the game and do my practice in a manner that readies me for the game situation. We were going for maximum total, didn't have a set target in mind.
It's a sorry-looking scorecard, with only Talat showing some resistance. Nobody else really got going. Faheem Ashraf was expensive but made regular incisions, finishing with a fifer. Mohammad Amir got the massive wicket of Babar Azam in the third over and won the battle within the battle. The pacers generally read the pitch quickly, took cues from the first innings, and bowled relentlessly on a back-of-a-length, making full use of the fierce - and sometimes uneven - bounce. Khurram shed two, Wasim attacked the stumps incessantly, and it's looking like one of the best bowling attacks this PSL. It was an abject surrender from Peshawar on a tricky pitch, and the batters couldn't adjust; no real contributions from the top order didn't help either. Earlier, Saud Shakeel got the total he was aiming for and it proved more than enough on this wicket. Solid contributions propelled the score close to 180. Quetta move to third while Peshawar are precariously placed at fifth on the points table after this game
