10.50 pm A very comfortable win in the end for Zalmi. A 24-run margin doesn't really tell the full story though. They were under extreme pressure in the first three overs after Amir's triple-wicket burst before Haseebullah, Rovman Powell and Tom Kohler-Cadmore responded with three half-centuries.
Karachin Kings captain Imad Wasim says in his post-match interview: "We didn't bowl well. You have to bowl yorkers here. Length ball was coming onto the bat. We have to be very decisive with what we're bowling. They bowled yorkers and it was hard to hit. It was good to see Amir back in form. It was tough to bowl spin in these conditions. Credit goes to Rovman Powell for the way he batted. Shamsi bowled well and Mujeeb bowled well. But I gave up 18 in my last over. We could have held them to under 180. 200 was a par score but not a winning score. We are still in the tournament, so you never know."
Rovman Powell is named Player of the Match for his half-century for Zalmi in the win: "It was a pretty good wicket. Credit has to be given to the two batters before me. Haseebullah and TKC gave us a good platform and then I could launch. Everything was in my zone. It was important to bat the first 5 or 10 balls properly. Once you get in, it's a small ground and you can capitalize. It was disappointing that I couldn't get the runs in my first few games but now is an opportunity to change that."
That'll do it for today's live coverage. Come back tomorrow for some more live PSL action. Until the, take care!
