1.28am And that is all we have from this game - thanks for sticking around and hope you had fun. It's goodbye from Raghav, Binoy, Danyal and myself.
Wahab: The way he batted, he took the pressure away. The way he plays, he left no clues to the bowling team. We have just given the license to express themselves, it's good to give the guys that confidence because you know what they're capable of. [Things to improve] In the last three games we've been giving away wickets in quick succession. This is where we really have to work hard. The batter who is in really needs to [take responsibility].
Zazai: When I got selected in the PSL I was excited to play for Zalmi. My form was good in the nets and the coaches and players encouraged me and that's why I went out there with confidence. I prefer playing against the fast bowlers, but I've improved against spin recently and it was a 50-50 split tonight.
Hazratullah Zazai is the Player of the Match.
Imad: It's a mixture of good bowling and poor batting - they bowled really well. The thing is, they outclassed us in batting and bowling. They utilised the powerplay, we lost 3-4 wickets. If we'd got Zazai early we could have [done better]. We're still well placed and there are positives for us. Nothing to lose now - we have to win both games to stay in the tournament. We have to give ourselves a chance in both batting and bowling. We'll sit together tomorrow and come back hard - if we think we can't do it, then there's no point.
1.14am They needed this win so bad, and they've absolutely romped to it tonight. Barring that little blip in the last few overs of course. But that didn't matter one bit - this match was wrapped up much, much earlier. Superb bowling effort to reduce Karachi Kings to 108 - their lowest score - before Zazai came and finished the chase before Karachi could even think of a plan. What a totally stunning debut. Joint-fastest PSL fifty, off 17 balls, and 63 off 26 in all. It's a win that does wonders for their net run-rate, on top of the fact that they've now jumped to second place with 10 points. One more game to go and you'd think one more win will seal qualification. Karachi were tied on six points with Multan Sultans and were fourth place - they now go down to fifth because their NRR has been battered.
"I wanted to attack Babar from the very first ball, bringing the ball in to him using the blind spot," the seamer reveals
