Umar Akmal, bowlers propel Quetta Gladiators to easy win
He may have been cast out into the wilderness by the Pakistan cricket team, but Umar Akmal found a way back into the country's collective conscience with an unbeaten 50-ball 76

Not many players divide opinion as much as the Akmal brothers. Both of them had excellent games here, but it was the younger Umar's little gem, an unbeaten 75, that helped the Gladiators off to a winning start, after they found themselves in a spot of bother at 34 for two. He started with a flurry of boundaries, rotated the strike expertly through the middle and batted through to the end to see his team home. He had support from his captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, as the duo stitched a vital 62-run stand for the fourth-wicket, despite some frenetic running between the wickets. That's all from us. Thanks for joining
