9:43 pm Multan Sultans had a very dismal performance with the bat in front of their home spectators. The home team started carefully with the bat, as the ball was moving around both sides of the pitch. However, as they attempted to step up the gear and boost the run rate, they lost both of their openers cheaply. The following batters were unable to stay at the crease for long, losing wickets at regular intervals. Zalmi bowled with great discipline and closed down the runs. The pitch was also slower, making it significantly more difficult for the batters to bat. Zalmi utilised six bowlers, and they all took wickets. Ahmed Daniyal took three wickets, while Maaz Sadaqat and Luke Wood both claimed two. We'll return for the run chase after a brief break.
