10:35 pm The United batters made a cautious start following a rainy day and a 45-minute wait to begin the match. Farhan continued where he left off in the last match, illustrating excellent strokeplay all over the field. Gous' struggles with the bat continue, as he was dismissed for another single-digit innings in this season's PSL. Farhan's batting blitz stopped early tonight, with 53 runs off 35 balls. However, after Farhan's departure, United drifted off course. Munro dominated one side of the strike, smashing 48 runs off 25 balls. But his partners at the other end failed to capitalize on the momentum of the innings. Jordan was economical in the middle, taking two wickets. However, the Multan Sultan bowlers lost their rhythm in the last overs, as Haider Ali and Jason Holder unleashed a power hitting performance. Haider Ali had a brilliant cameo, scoring 33 runs off 16 balls. His partner, Holder, was even more aggressive, scoring 32 runs off 14 balls while remaining unbeaten at the crease. Jordan took two wickets, while Usama and Willey were economical with one wicket each. Willey had one over remaining in his bowling quota, which was surprising. Anyway, we'll be back for the run chase after a quick break.
