That concludes today's activity. Thank you for tuning in. Please join us again tomorrow at the same time with Rvel Zahid for the next PSL match. Until then, I am signing off on behalf of myself and Harshith Gowda. Goodnight.
Avoid concentrating on the Net Run Rate, Peshawar Zalmi supporters. Islamabad United, on the other side, are riding high and presently leads the league table after two convincing victories.
Shadab Khan: "Credit goes to Sahibzada Farhan for his hard work behind the scenes. When you don't perform, we will judge you as if you haven't done the hard work. But how he did the hard work, he did play for Pakistan in and out for some time, but he did the right stuff, and eventually it has come out. Hopefully, it will stay for a long time. (Winning the toss) Definitely (a good call). This is the third game in this track, and we have depth in the batting. We want to capitalize on our batters well. When someone is in, they can go for long (innings), and Sahibzada has done it today. We had a partnership with Colin and Farhan, then Farhan and Agha; we had 3-4 partnerships. The pitch wasn't a 240 runs pitch, but the way Farhan and the other batters played- hats off to them. If you think about T20 cricket nowadays, we have 6-7 bowling options because if someone goes for runs, we have other options to cover for him. We are blessed to have depth in both the batting and bowling departments. I think when you play this type of game, there are unsung heroes like Nawaz and Shahzad who come in as substitute fielders. Agha got injured, and Sahibzada got off the field. I think the way Nawaz came in and did the fielding, the character he showed in the field, hats off to them as well. (Permanent substitute Nawaz) No no no no (laughter). Because we are a data-driven team, we won the toss today, and we won the last game as well, and if you see the stats, we bring Dwarshuis in, and he has done a good job with the ball."
Sahibzada Farhan is the Player of the Match
11:48 pm Nothing went Zalmi's way today, and the players had a miserable day overall. Ultimately, it was all about Sahibzada Farhan's outstanding batting and exceptional performance. Once again, the openers failed to provide a great start for the Zalmi. Babar again edged a length ball outside off and was dismissed cheaply. Mitch Owen got a promotion in the batting order. He began his strokeplay with a big six and a magnificent slog shot over the covers. But it didn't last long; Imad had been introduced in the third over and was caught plumb lbw in front of the stumps. Saim Ayub also didn't survive long, being caught in Naseem's change of pace technique and pulling the slower bouncer to backward square leg. Mohammad Haris was the lone warrior of the innings, and his teammates on the other end did not last long at the crease. The runs on the scoreboard put a lot of pressure on the Zalmi batters. The fielders performed an excellent job, and the skipper made superb bowling changes throughout the innings that prevented the batters from settling at the crease. United used six bowlers, and all of them picked up wickets. Imad Wasim claimed three wickets, while Dwarshuis and Shadab each took two. Mohammad Nawaz, the substitute fielder, caught four catches in the deep.

.ALI RAZA: "The boost in NRR will be huge for UNITED after this win. Will help a lot as the league stage moves ahead.. "
swathi: "The USP of PSL in the beginning was that it is a premier bowler supportive league - You can see both top class international bowlers and young quickies in Pak. Have they lost it now over the years?" That was the thinking a few years back. However, while big names like as Shaheen, Rauf, and Naseem have lost their mojo in international cricket, the outcomes in local cricket have been pretty clear. Their replacements still couldn't make an impact here or there.
