Hope you enjoyed our coverage of the Qualifier. Until we meet again, It is goodbye and goodnight from me, Rvel Zahid
Usama Mir, Player of the Match: Glad we won and happy that I fulfilled the requirements of the captain in the middle overs and got wickets. I tried to bowl in right areas. When a legspinner bowls in the right areas, the surface doesn't matter and he can find success on any wicket. Our bowling is very experienced, it's easy for me in middle overs to have support from Iftikhar and then CJ (Chris Jordan) bowls terrifically at the death...
Mohammad Rizwan, Multan Sultans Captain: I'm very happy that our efforts are producing results. All the effort is for that one match and I hope we can continue in the same way. Just need to work on finishing touch...teams whose bowlers are at top usually make it to the (playoffs). We'll have to put in the same effort like in the first game to win the final. Yasir Khan got beat on first ball and then dominated, hit sixes so it was a great innings. Ground is not full maybe due to Ramadan but I'm sure we'll have a packed house in the final
Multan Sultans were utterly professional, disciplined, and emphatic in the Qualifier. The table-toppers routed Peshawar Zalmi in this crucial contest. Peshawar Zalmi still have a chance to secure a spot in the final as they'll face the winner of Eliminator 1 on March 16. Babar Azam-led Zalmi will need to reassess strategies to make a comeback, particularly in the absence of Naveen-ul-Haq, whose replacement, Walter, wasn't up to scratch. The match was far from what we expect from a Qualifier, largely a one-sided affair. Yasir Khan's vital fifty eased the pressure on the middle order as Usman Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed made sure there was no hiccup in the chase and calmly got Multan over the line. Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi lost wickets at regular intervals, with Babar Azam's dismissal off a sensational yorker from Jordan at 46 being a major blow. Following his dismissal, the team struggled to up the ante and didn't get many big overs as their total of 146 didn't prove enough. Usama Mir stemmed the run-flow effectively in the middle overs and bowled with great control.

Shine_Stine: "This PSL MS is the only team which has played like a true champion. all other 3 among the final 4 have just mediocre performance. They only managed to sneak in because KK and LQ were too bad. I will be very sad if MS doesn't won this PSL"
Zain: "I do think sticking with UAE is the easy route and there isn't a lot he can achieve. There's no fun in that. If he wants real challenges, Usman Khan should play for Pakistan. He offers consistent runs with a high strike rate and this is something no one else in Pakistan cricket offers. Look at Babar, he is a success with a huge fan base. The issues with PCB has not stopped him from achieving that. "
Nisar: "Usman Khan has never played a single international match, or very few domestic matches. Based solely on his performance in leagues, he cannot be rated highly enough to be selected for the World Cup. International matches, especially in the World Cup, entail a completely different level of pressure and skill."
