3:56pm Well, the Kings seemed set for a score in excess of 180 but a combination of poor decision-making and excellent death-bowling means that they only have 167 runs on the board, which might be just below par on this surface. Tahir was undeniably the star of the show for the Kings, registering a fifty on debut and ensuring that they kept scoring at a healthy rate for much of their innings. Vince was also superb at the top of the order, scoring a brisk 12-ball 27. Wade, though, played a very uncharacteristic innings and that rid them of the impetus they required towards the end, with Malik also not able to get going.

As for the Sultans, they would be pleased with how they pulled things back. Ihsanullah continued his meteoric rise, picking up a couple of wickets and giving away only 22 runs. With the batting unit they boast, they will be fancying their chances of hunting this down. Do join us in a bit for the run-chase!

Tayyab Tahir: I want to thank the almighty for giving me a chance at this level. I am honoured to get this chance where the whole world is watching. (On his chat with Wasim Akram) He was asking me where I am most comfortable. He asked me to be ready for my chance. (On who he idolizes) I watch a lot of different players like Jason Roy, Shoaib Malik, AB de Villiers, Virat Kohli and Babar Azam.

Faizan Ahmed : "Is it a poor piece of batting from Karachi or Multan bowling pretty well in the death overs?" -- To be honest, it has been a bit of both. Not great shot selection and intent from the Kings. Excellent planning and execution by the Sultans, though

Right. The death overs have not quite gone to plan so far. Can the Kings finish well?

Shahmir Haider: "Ihsanullah is great find of this PSL. He his tall, quick, and economical. Hope he can serve the men in green for a long time."

Ihsanullah to Wade, OUT, Ihsanullah sends off stump flying! Heat-seeking 151.4 kph missile that hones in on off stump. Wade tries to be too cute and looks to lap it away. However, he is awfully late on the stroke and even before the bat comes down, the off stump is sent flying out of the ground! What a bowler this lad is!

Ihsanullah to Tayyab Tahir, OUT, huge appeal, and given this time! Full and slanted into middle and leg stump. Tahir shuffles across his stumps a touch and then plays all around a straight ball. It thuds into the pads and the umpire has no hesitation in raising his finger. Tahir does not even bother with the review, and the Kings finally lose their second wicket!
