On that note, we come to the conclusion of the tournament with befitting champions. Hope you enjoyed ESPNcricinfo's coverage. A big thank you to everyone who tuned in on behalf of all my fellow commentators, the scorers, and everyone who helped cover and present the tournament. Stay safe and take care.
Here is the updated list of all the PSL Winners
12:09 am: Rameez Raja thanks everyone and invites Shaheen and the team to go up and collect the trophy. Everyone is celebrating, Hafeez clicks a picture with his family. These are great pictures and you can expect the social media pages of the teams and players to be lit up with them soon.
Shaheen Afridi, Lahore Captain: PDP (player Development Board) has helped unearth many young players like Haris and Zaman. It was a difficult responsibility when I was appointed captain. But thanks to my family, Hafeez who supported throughout and everyone in the team.I want to give credit to everyone in the team as all of them put up their hands and contributed at different times.
Mohammad Rizwan, Multan Captain and The Player of the Tournament: Lahore, along with us, deserved to win. Others were great in parts but we were consistently and thought it was fair that they won. The difference between the two sides was that they played better in pressure situations. Like Hafeez did after losing early wickets but we couldn't do that. (On captaincy) I play with everyone and support teammates. We all make mistakes and I look at them as fallible humans and try to be accepting of them which has helped.
Fakhar Zaman is the Batter of the tournament for his 588 runs
Shadab Khan is the Bowler of the tournament for 19 wickets with two 4-wicket hauls and one 5-wicket haul
Zaman Khan is the Emerging Player of the Tournament
11:52 pm: Mohammad Hafeez is awarded the Player of the match for his 69(46) and 4-0-23-2: Thanks to everyone here and to the management, they have backed me and this was the right time to perform. It was important to absorb pressure, the partnership between me and Brook helped. David Wiese finished off really well. Lahore has struggles from 7 years, and the mindset and vision have helped win here. Shaheen is a champion, he can manage everything really well. He respected everyone and gave authority to everyone.
Hamid: "The best picks for me are: Skipper: Rizwan-Shaheen (tie), Opener: Fakhar Zaman, All-rounder: Shadab-Khushdil (tie), Bowler: Shaheen-Naseem, Youngster: Zaman-Haris"

Hammad: "Where is Rashid Khan?He flew just to play Final but he was not in the team" He was requested by Lahore to come and play but stayed in Bangladesh for National duty but his contributions have been significant as well

Zaman Khan: The team supported me, especially Shaheen. He supported me like an elder brother, so I'm thankful. Haris, Shaheen, and Rashid have been extremely impressive and inspiring.
Samit Patel also has a chat, talks about Shaheen being fired up and being wonderful has captain. He talks about the crowd which have been amazing with their continued support and that they were close to winning a championship before, when they lost to Karachi having played well in the tournament, but are thrilled to have won. He also highlights Hafeez, his significant impact and its integral role in the team's cohesion.
David Wiese: The batters did well to set it up. I felt good and was lucky to get a few. The fact that we were the only team to have beat Multan gave us confidence. We knew that the final was one off and we knew we could win it. We enjoyed ourselves and are thrilled to have won.
They start of a lap of glory sees Shaheen wearing his new cap now that he's the leading wicket taker. The crowd is cheering the team on as they soak in the joy with dances and the company of their teammates.
Salal SS : "Sports teach us a great thing: the only thing that matters is the present. No matter what you have had in the past, if you keep your present good, everything will take care of itself. Multan almost had remained invincible but couldn't give their best today."
Ali: "Feeling bad for Rizwan but happy for Shaheen. Congratulations to Qalandars for The First Championship" Rizwan smiles, acknowledges the crowd with a thumbs up and a wave.
Bilal: "Multan bowled out for the first time in this tournament at a time when it mattered the most"
Kiran: "Great.. every team won atleast one title. "
11:15 pm: The PSL has a new champion! The fireworks and the crowds bear witness to a team in ecstacy. Lahore were the underdogs in the beginning of this game, they started poorly but Hafeez took over. He did so with the ball too, taking Rizwan which was massive. The regular wickets and dry overs meant the target of 181 made its weight felt. Zaman bowled beautifully and Shaheen took out the lower middle order. Haris got one and Wiese finished it off after going for a few earlier. That does not matter, all that matters now is that all six of the PSL teams now have a championship under their belt and Lahore is the latest entry.
