9.28 PM: A decent effort from the Multan Sultans after being put in to bat, you'd think. They commenced well with their in-form opening duo of Mohammad Rizwan and Shan Masood providing them with another solid launching pad. Things did get a touch muted following the powerplay when Peshawar Zalmi's spinners, Liam Livingstone and Shoaib Malik, tightened the screws and bowled extremely well in tandem. By the time Rizwan was dismissed, the Sultans were nearing the three digits mark and it was the perfect platform for their middle order to unleash its explosiveness. Tim David contributed handily with another blistering cameo of 34 off 18. Just when the Sultans were looking to run riot, the Zalmi came roaring back at the rear-end, scalping six wickets in the last five overs to dent the opposition's late surge.

It's pretty even-stevens by the looks of it which sets us up for a cracking run-chase. We'll be back in a jiffy, stay tuned!
