9.20 PM: Multan Sultans have cantered along to a well above-par total and given themselves a superb chance of making it five wins in a row. They started extremely well with Masood and Rizwan carrying them unscathed through the powerplay. Maqsood kept upping the ante after Masood was dismissed with Rizwan on the other hand waltzing along on his merry way. He was soon joined by Tim in the middle who emulated his ball-striking antics from the other night, smashing the joint-fastest fifty of PSL 2022. The skipper himself made a sublime 82 off 53 with Khushdil providing the finishing touches at the rear-end with those three sixes. A near-perfect innings for the defending champions, not so much for Peshawar Zalmi who were quite ordinary in the field and couldn't execute their bowling plans under pressure, unlike last night.
We'll be back in a jiffy with the run-chase, stay tuned
Peshawar Zalmi have been set a gargantuan target of 223 runs to win the match
