Rizwan still feels there are areas of improvement, especially in the field, but he's very happy with the performance. "The pitch was quite good and the ball was coming on to the bat. We thought even if we took the game deep, we could get the runs required. But we were going along nicely and it was a relief to finish it off sooner.
Dhani is the Player of the Match, and why not? "There was lots of dew, and Azhar Mehmood told us to keep that in mind when I bowled. I rushed through the first over, but I knew whenever the momentum swings, things can go your way very quickly. The captain kept encouraging me and that paid off."
Dhani dedicates this win to "the big fellow" Carlos Brathwaite. What a sweet, fun chap he is, couldn't happen to a nicer guy, all this.

12.05am Two hours and five minutes after the first ball was bowled, the innings has finally ended, with both teams reasonably happy with the first half. Zalmi started slowly, picked up pace, stuttered and then finished well courtesy Rutherford's blistering half-century. The star of the evening, though, was Multan Sultans' Shanawaz Dhani, the fast bowler, who finished with 4 for 31. Picked among the 'emerging players' category, he's currently the highest wicket-taker so far this season. Join us in five minutes for the chase, with Danyal back with the controls.
