12.15 am: That ends our coverage for today. It's been a great playoff week in the PSL so far. One match to go and it's a big one. A Karachi v Lahore final. Both teams in the final for the first time. Make sure you join us for that in a couple of days. Till then, it's goodnight from me, Saurabh, on behalf of Thilak as well.
Sohail Akhtar: It's a big achievement to reach the final. The belief that was there for five years has paid off. They have got a lot of youngsters too and it's great for them that we are in the final. Our three fast bowlers are all 140+ and all have variations. I believe we can defend any total. The momentum we have, we'll try to continue going that way for the final. Keep the basics in place, batting and bowling."
Shan Masood: Both games we had in our hands. We can only look at ourselves. The spinners were brilliant, especially Lala. We thought we could keep them below 160, but no excuses. When we batted we had a great start. 91 for 2 in 10 overs, we should have chased it. Hindsight's always 20-20, it was just that we didn't execute our skills at the death. (On the long layoff) I'm not going to make any excuses. It was the same for everyone. The thing was we had two opportunities (to make the final) and we had both games in our hand. Hopefully we'll learn from these mistakes and come back."
David Wiese is not the man of the match. Just kidding. Of course he is. Who else could it be. "We had a nice little partnership towards the end. The spinners bowled well but we knew if we could hang in there and put pressure on the bowlers at the death we could get a few away. It worked out. (on bowling) Fortunate to bat first so we could sum up the conditions quickly. Wasn't a pitch where we could blow them away so change of pace was important, but length was also important. I know it's going to be a massive game (the final). Would have been awesome to have a packed house but everyone in Lahore is going to be supporting us. I think we've got one more push in us."
Ben Dunk: Been a different year and a difficult year but really proud to get into the finals and putting some smiles back on people's faces. (Wiese) was huge with the ball as well. I was reasonably confident with 180 on board. The ball gripped a little bit more tonight than last night but our guys adjusted well. They bowled a lot of change-ups. Nice to have a rest day tomorrow. Been a long journey for this franchise to get to the final.
11.52 pm: It's going to be Karachi Kings vs Lahore Qalandars in the final - it's a match several people wanted as the title clash. David Wiese has been the magic man for Lahore today, blasted 48* off 21 to pull them to a formidable 182 when they looked like they would do well to get 160 at one point. Then bowled his cutters into the pitch and took pace off to take 3 for 27. Grabbed a super catch at the boundary for good measure. Adam Lyth gave Multan a great start but they fell away after that, with the pace duo of Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf working up serious pace. Shaheen had walked off after two overs but came back to bowl two trouble free overs. We've got an exciting final in store. Both teams are first-time finalists, so we're guaranteed a new winner. Multan must still wait for a first final appearance. They came very close in Qualifier 1, but lost in a Super Over.
