  • Khushdil Shah70 (29b)
  • Bilawal Bhatti1 (1b)
  • Haris Rauf3-0-50-0
  • Shaheen Shah Afridi4-0-23-2

Khushdil Shah speaks to the broadcasters: "I got a few extra overs today, and watched my way in the first 8-10 balls before I took some chances. The wicket is a good one, and we were heading for a total of 150 or so, but once we realised the ball is coming on to the bat, we wanted to go for bigger shots. To get a big score is helpful. There's a lot of credit due to Mushy bhai, Andy Flower and Azhar bhai. They encourage us, as do all the foreign players. We want to play this well in the semi-final too, and qualify for the final."

3.42pm Right, having won the toss Lahore did everything right with the new ball. Shaheen Afridi provided the early breakthrough, and Mohammad Hafeez backed it up with a wicket in his opening over. Multan then steadied things till the 10-over mark. At one stage, they looked like they would fold up for something in the region of 150, but then Khushdil Shah played a superb hand of 70 to take them to 186. All to do for Lahore, if they want to confirm their place in the semi-finals before tonight's last game. .The chase, coming up shortly. Stay with us.

18.6
W
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Rohail Nazir, OUT, the fast bowler's response is emphatic! Yorker, a bit fuller than what the previous ball was. Nazir looks to move away and get it towards cover, but is beaten by the pace and accuracy. Crashes into the base of off and middle. A handy little knock comes to an end

Rohail Nazir b Shaheen Shah Afridi 24 (17b 2x4 1x6) SR: 141.17

18.5
4
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Rohail Nazir, FOUR, innovation from Rohail Nazir this time! He's opened his stance up, and then effectively reverse paddled this ball with his legs wide apart, and got it to third man for four. A yorker nailed, but put away

18.2
4
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Khushdil Shah, FOUR, oh, super shot! It's a yorker, and he picks the length early, gets low down on his haunches and just paddles this down to fine leg, with the man inside the circle. Fifty for Khushdil!

Kazim Abbas: "At one stage it looked like Multan won't even reach 130 but now, 155 already on board. Multan Sultan cruising."

18.1

17.6
1nb
Dilbar Hussain to Khushdil Shah, 1 no ball, beamer, over the head of the bowler, who ducks under it. No-ball and a free hit, and interestingly Dilbar doesn't apologise either. Would have perhaps slipped out, anyway

SalmanP: "Haris v Shaheen difference is clear. Haris yet again failing and not a single significant performance in a while #PSLV2020"

17.5

4
Dilbar Hussain to Khushdil Shah, FOUR, short, fast, and swatted away towards long leg. Khushdil is watching this ball like a football, and cashing in on every scoring opportunity. 33 off the last nine balls for him!

Shah has also smashed this ball out of shape. Needs a replacement

Sabahat Naseem: "Khushdil making our dil khush! " ---- Happy hearts everywhere.

17.2
6
Dilbar Hussain to Khushdil Shah, SIX, fuller, wider, and he scoops this over long-off. Ridiculously good shot this! Does well to first get under this, clearing his front leg, and then times it really well. Brings up the 50 of the partnership as well
17.1
4

6
Haris Rauf to Khushdil Shah, SIX, latches on to a length ball, and goes over deep mid-wicket. Off the middle, and there's no reeling this back in!

Ravi Bopara on the broadcast says this is a slow surface. Anywhere close to 160 is a good score, he thinks.

Haris Rauf to Rohail Nazir, 1 run, length, drives this hard towards long-on
16.2
1
Haris Rauf to Khushdil Shah, 1 run, short, and he has flogged this away towards deep square leg. The fielder in the deep deals well with a tricky bounce, and rifles in a quick throw at the striker's end
