5.00pm That's the end of that. A dreary affair really. A game bereft of competitive energy, but one where Bangladesh got a lot of match time in as far as their batting goes. They'll play India in the semi-final after a well-deserved day off tomorrow.
Malaysia - well, you have to feel for them. That they batted out the 20 overs should count as a positive. Diving straight into deep waters after playing the qualifiers left them with little time to adapt. While it's wonder that the Asian Cricket Council sees merit in expansion, they will be doing the smaller teams a favour by facilitating tours and exposure against age-group sides of the big four from the region.
Nigar Sultana: Definitely, a win always feel good. The way we batted, was wonderful. Consistency by batters has been pleasing, Murshida has done well, with ball, Nahida and Rabeya - very happy. We're looking forward to play good cricket, execute game plans. I have belief in my team, I know how capable they are. Ball was coming on nicely.
Murshida Khatun is the Player of the Match for her 80 off 59 balls.
Winifred Duraisingam: Great experience for the girls. Have a young squad, hope they learn from here and take something back home. Not easy for youngsters to get a chance to play in a tournament like the Asia Cup.
