3:26pm Shorna has not been afforded the strike in the final over and India once again finish on top. A target of 81 should not challenge them. It all began with Renuka sharing the spoils early, picking up three wickets inside the powerplay. Only Nigar showed any resistance with the bat for Bangladesh, but went nowhere with the strike rate. Her partnership of 36 off 35 with Shorna was the best for them.
Renuka Singh: "I was not under pressure, was confident with my skills. Wanted to carry forward whatever I did before. The conditions were good, mindset was clear as this was a semi-final. Yesterday we trained according to the pitch and conditions. Vastrakar always supports me from the opposite end, not enough time to chat in the middle."
