It's been the Chamari Athapaththu show all along. She was measured to begin with, but shifted gears after the 10-over mark. Brought up her century off a six, and has finished with her T20I highest. She was put down on 56, and boy, hasn't she cashed in? The surface was the same flat bed on which India belted 201 last afternoon. It played as good, if not better, today.

Malaysia didn't help themselves on the field with a series of misfields and the dropped chance. They have lots to learn, and were thoroughly exposed as the innings progressed. The only way they will get better is with more experience, perhaps against developmental teams of the bigger teams in the Asian block. The carnage may seem a tad unfair on them, but it is what it is.

Chamari was well supported by good hands from Sanjeewani and Harshitha. Back soon for the chase.

Duraisingam to Dilhari, OUT, two in two as she flattens the stumps with another yorker. The carnage ends and Athapaththu remains unbeaten. You'd think Sri Lanka have more than enough.
