9.11 pm That's all from Chittagong today. Comilla thumped Khulna in 13.5 overs and secure their position on second, but they can go first very soon since they still have played two matches less than table-toppers Khulna. Hope you enjoyed ESPNcricinfo's coverage of all the action today. It's Sreshth Shah, on behalf of Deiva Muthu, signing off. Thanks for your company!
First time in the BPL that there were no sixes hit. We're ready with the presentation too. First up, the losing captain Mahmudullah: "Surprisingly the ball spun early on, and losing four-five wickets in the powerplay is hard to recover from. They bowled in good areas, so credit to them. Lesson learnt: we need to switch on in a better way, hope to do well in Dhaka. Wickets were good, but we didn't expect turn and bounce. It's good to still be at the top of the table, but we need to keep striving."
Here's the winning captain Tamim Iqbal. He says: "It was a good victory, they bowled brilliantly. Very proud of the boys. My plan was to start with spin and then bring Hasan, but when spin was working beautifully so I changed the plan. Hand is not hurting much because I've taken an injection."
Now for the Man of the Match. It goes to Shoaib Malik for his three-wicket haul. His 28th career award in T20 history, second only to Chris Gayle. He says: "Hardly have I won a Man-of-the-Match award for bowling. Getting the reward for bowling is exceptional. I have tried to take wickets, even as a non-regular bowler. Our plan was that opposition's batting is strong so keep taking wickets, and we were successful at that part. That was key in us restricting them to less than 115. Performances coming from batsmen and bowlers is a great sign for any team."
9.00 pm Comilla go to second on the points table while Khulna stay at first after this thumping by the Victorians. Spin at the top led by Shoaib Malik, and the fiery Al-Amin in the middle-overs, strangled Khulna after they chose to bat. After that, it was a Tamim Iqbal masterclass that ensured Khulna had no chance with the ball. We'll be back with the presentation very soon. Stick around to hear from the two captains.
Symon Foyez: "Nice batting display from Comilla, an innings filled up with fours, no sixes. NINETEEN fours to score 112 runs, took only 14 overs. "
Only five to win now and no sixes in this match. Will this game end with a six? I doubt it, though
