Sugandika's double strike and Athapaththu's wicket dented Pakistan in the powerplay and they just kept losing wickets regularly on a slow Sharjah surface. Sana at No.7 played a quickfire 30 to help Pakistan get past 100 but ran out of partners for a steady stand to lift the team. Prabodani, Sugandika and Athapaththu starred with three wickets each.
