3:28pm An innings that never really took off, which seems a strange thing to say after the intent Bangladesh showed at the top. Unfortunately for them, they could not back it up with the requisite execution. Rani scored 29 and Mostary managed 36 but both of those knocks came at a strike rate under 100. Sultana tried to hurry things up but found the going tough too. In that context, Fahima's five-ball 10 was quite handy.

Scotland, for large swathes, were excellent, especially with the ball. There weren't too many extras or freebies and they hit their lines and lengths. On a track that was a touch slow, they bowled at the stumps, which made hitting them tougher. Horley closed out the innings well with her career-best figures. Bell, Fraser and Kathryn bagged a wicket apiece too. The only thing that let them down was their catching. But that said, Scotland, at this stage, will be the happier of the two sides. Join us in a bit for the run-chase!

Sobhana Mostary: Wicket is very good, ball is coming onto the bat and it was very easy to play. They (Scotland) also bowled well. Our target was 140. We could not achieve it but no worries, our bowling is good and we can fight with this total. We are confident, bowling is our strength.

Horley to Rabeya Khan, 1 run, Bangladesh finish on 119! Zipped into the blockhole wide outside off. Rabeya shapes for the paddle sweep but ends up scuffing it. The ball rolls away behind square and she has to be content with a single!

Horley to Nigar Sultana, OUT, Scotland hold onto a catch and Sultana's cameo comes to an end! Darted in on a fullish length outside off. Sultana takes a step down the track, looking to go downtown. Does not get the purchase she is after, though, and offers a fairly simple catch to Kathryn at long off. Bangladesh still two runs away from 120!

Slices it straight up and point makes an absolute hash of it. McColl the guilty party. The second very straightforward chance Scotland have put down today

Right. Six balls left. Sultana on strike. Can Bangladesh get up to 125? Horley to bowl

Horley to Ritu Moni, OUT, oh well! Not the most conventional stumping you will ever see but it gets the job done for Scotland on this occasion! Fizzed through quick on a length outside off. Moni advances, swings at it and misses it. Sarah does not gather cleanly but the ball pin-balls off her body and topples the bail, with the batter well out of crease. Scotland keep chipping away!

Ross: "Just three wides from Scotland so far. Often that's where those below the top, top elite teams fall away so that's an impressive tally in the extras column." -- They have been very tidy today, rarely offering Bangladesh any freebies to relieve the pressure.

Horley to Shorna Akter, OUT, and Horley is among the wickets straightaway! Dangles the carrot outside off and Shorna bites. Looks for the slog sweep and nearly swings herself off her feet. A hint of extra bounce, though, and that causes the top edge. Chatterji circles under it and then gobbles up the chance. Horley is delighted; Shorna, not quite!
