What do England have in front of them? For starters, they will have to break their own record for a successful chase in a T20 World Cup. They had chased 164 successfully in 2009. And to hunt this down against a bowling attack like South Africa's could be some task. Not ruling it out though. An interesting chase beckons and PDP will be back with it soon.

4:27pm 97 runs in the last ten overs for South Africa, their best in this phase in this Women's T20 World Cup. What a game to score those! It was all thanks to the massive platform set by their openers Wolvaardt and Brits. Good on South Africa to have capitalised on that, and that was because of Kapp's cameo of 27 off 13. England seemed to suddenly lose their cool as the death overs approached. Quite strange.

Laura Wolvaardt: "There was not too much in it for the bowlers. Brits and I looked to capitalise on that at the start. We didn't get off to the best start but pulled it back towards the end of our innings. Ideally 170-180 would have put them under pressure. Tried to play my game and not think too much. No surprises about Ecclestone's bowling. We have a world-class bowling side, hoping they stick to their natural lines and lengths. We are backing them."

K Sciver-Brunt to Kapp, FOUR, Banged away and South Africa end on a high! Kapp stands tall the team needs her. Gets the length ball angling in, heaves it to the deep midwicket fence after taking a couple of steps down the ground. What an innings, what a finish for the hosts.

K Sciver-Brunt to Kapp, FOUR, Hammered away and Newlands makes its presence felt! Another slower one, this is full and outside off. All fielders deep are on the on side. Kapp slinks down and gets it through the gap between mid-off and cover.

Saksham: "Honestly 170 always looked very far fetched, even with that foundation. And even 170 wouldn't have been beyond England given their firepower" You are not wrong, except this is the semi-final. So the normal patterns could go out of the window...

1
K Sciver-Brunt to Luus, 1 run, Makes room and slaps the length ball back to the bowler, and it goes off her boot to mid-off.

K Sciver-Brunt to Kapp, 1 run, Full and outside off, pushed to cover for a quick one.

"C'mon, c'mon" mutters Kapp.

2
K Sciver-Brunt to Kapp, 2 runs, Bangs it short and outside off, Kapp makes room but only slaps it aerially towards sweeper cover. Gets two.

Free hit... Fine leg goes back, but England cannot change the field. So fine leg comes back in and cover goes out.

K Sciver-Brunt to Kapp, (no ball) FOUR, Oopsies! That slipped off Sciver-Brunt's hand and Kapp despatches it. Very high full toss and sliding down leg, it was the attempted back-of-the-hand slower one gone wrong. Leaves KSB on the floor. Kapp swivels and pulls it for a one-bounce four to deep backward square leg.

Three fielders deep on the leg side, that is the shorter one,.

1
K Sciver-Brunt to Luus, 1 run, Slower one outside leg, she makes room and gets it off the inner half through square leg.

KSB to bowl the last over.

Jeevan: "Gosh. 2 SFs and 2 back to back brilliant 19th overs. Yest by Aus and today by Eng."

Ecclestone to Luus, no run, Goes back and punches the length ball back to the right of the bowler, who stops it with a dive.

Sune Luus in now.

Lyle: "These last 2 wickets was pressure. SA just need to be calm so they can stick the landing and at least end the innings on a high"

Ecclestone to de Klerk, OUT, And de Klerk falls to an ungainly hoick! Ecclestone doing to South Africa what Ecclestone does to South Africa. Fires it full and just outside off, de Klerk goes for the slog and inside-edges it onto the stumps. England right back in it now.

Ecclestone to Tryon, 2 runs, Quicker and outside off, she looks to turn in across but gets a leading edge towards mid-off. Sprints back for two.

Ecclestone to bowl out.

South Africa have managed 53 in the last five overs. Yet you think they need just another final push in order to put this beyond England...

Chloe Tryon is in now. 13 deliveries to have an impact.

Bell to Brits, OUT, And gone! Brits' knock ends and this has been a good one. Excellent catch from Katherine Sciver-Brunt - she had to move across to her left and leap a bit to hold on to the ball that was travelling. Brits managed to middle the heave down the ground off a full ball but didn't get the desired elevation.

Bryden: "SA giving themselves the best chance here... Yes, England are insanely formidable at the moment but 160 to 170 on the board will be enough to at least ask questions if England get into any kind of trouble." Now i think 170 is a bridge too far. Unless Tryon finds to come in to bat.

K Sciver-Brunt to Kapp, FOUR, Just short of mid-on diving forward and she lets it through. Katherine Sciver-Brunt is seething! Full ball around off, Kapp gets it off the inner half.
