4.41pm Right, time for a brew. Alan will be back shortly. And as Glenn alluded to in her interview, there's been plenty buzz about England's new attacking ambition with the bat ... the Bazbelle approach, perchance? Stay tuned to find out.
Kannadachi : "The WI batting show has been like a bottle of aerated drink which got opened. Fizzy till Hayley was batting and has lost lots of gas since Sophie Ecclestone trapped her in front!!! Maybe a piece of chewing gum gone insipid!!!"
4.38pm So, it's a target of 136 for England to open their World Cup campaign with a win... 66 for 6 in the second ten overs of West Indies' innings, after Hayley Matthews excellent 42 from 32 had come to an end. The pick of the bowlers, as so often, was Sophie Ecclestone, with a typically attacking and economical three-wicket haul.
Sarah Glenn: "We did a decent job in the end, tough in the heat. Windies ran really well but we assessed conditions. Got to keep the stumps in play, a decent wicket, couldn't be predictable. We've been brilliant with the bat, fearless, I'm excited to see the girls go out there."
