"It was difficult with the dew for a spinner," says Georgia Wareham. "When we trained under lights, we did try to bowl with wet balls. We just wanted to keep our composure [when catches were dropped], knew we can restrict them if we bowled well. We wanted to bowl it into the wicket and hit the right lengths. I wasn't aware of the hat-trick at all, actually [laughs]."
9.28pm Australia need 106 for their fourth Women's World T20 crown. They dropped as many as five chances, misfielded multiple times, but did they bowl superbly or what? Were the fielding lapses because of dew or poor application? All will be forgotten momentarily if they get these runs, and like always, Alyssa Healy will be crucial. If she gets them off to a pulsating start, this could well be one-way traffic. Australia bat very deep with Perry listed at No. 7, so early wickets are key for England.

The ball has become wet, so much that the ball slipped out of her hand because of dew. Umpires having a look at it. Rusere first almost put his left hand out to signal a no-ball and then decided against it. Change of balls now, and we're ready for the final over.
