13.4 off stump out of the ground! Full delivery, zoning into off stump. Gurbaz stays leg side and tries to smash it into next week. Misses the line completely and misses the ball, unsurprisingly. Sees his off stump demolished, and Nortje finally has something to smile about. What an innings, though, and it has set the Warriors on their way to a huge total! 169/3
2.4 goes high up, and taken by Rutherford this time! Length ball hung up outside off. Sinclair goes after it because, well, that is his brief. Loses his shape, though, and cuts across it too much. Lobs it up tamely and Rutherford, settling under it in the cover region, makes no mistake. Sinclair is not happy with himself but he departs after a very handy cameo! 25/1
6.1 holes out to long on! Fired in full on leg stump. Hope looks at the length and thinks he can go downtown. The shot is on but his execution is not on point. The bat face closes upon impact and he picks out Louis to absolute perfection. Vital breakthrough for the Patriots! 53/2
18.6 Hetmyer bites the dust! Kind of ironic that he has been dismissed looking for a four. It was in the slot again. Rather than aiming for the stands, he tries to just loft it over mid off. Fails in that pursuit, though, and Louis, with his height, completes a regulation catch on the ring. Disappointment etched all over Hetmyer's face but his teammates stand up to applaud a truly sensational knock! 249/6
14.3 Azam perishes! Shorter outside off. Azam sits back in his crease and thinks he can carve this through cover. The ball, though, hurries onto him a touch and he cannot keep it down. Slaps it towards extra cover, where Lewis dives snappily to his left and clings on. The Patriots have two in quick succession! 172/4
17.4 Paul has been run out! Zipped in full on leg stump. Paul looks for the reverse-lap but makes a mess of it. Fails to get bat on ball, and the ball rolls off the pad towards the bowler. Hetmyer crosses over, wanting the single and Paul is left stranded as John picks up the ball and throws down the stumps at the bowler's end! 216/5

19.6 a run out off the final ball! Into the blockhole wide outside off. Reifer guides it towards deep backward point and has no choice but to try and pinch a second. He is scrambling to make his ground, though, and is caught just short as Fletcher takes off the bails. The Warriors finish on 266-7, which is the second-highest total in the history of the CPL! 266/7

0.4 edged and taken! Pretorius with the early breakthrough! Length delivery in the fifth stump channel. Lewis, feeling the pinch of the scoring rate already, tries to smash it downtown. Loses shape and is not to the pitch of it either, meaning that he nicks it through to Azam, who makes no mistake! 4/1
12.3 Fletcher cannot clear long off, and is that the game?! Motie follows Fletcher outside leg and bowls it quite full. Fletcher still tries to go downtown but the length means he cannot get the elevation he desires. Arrows it flat and straight to Pretorius, and Fletcher cannot believe what he has done. Walks back crestfallen, and that could be that, as far as this run-chase is concerned! 171/6
5.1 Paul breaks through! Low full toss, hidden wide outside off. Mayers throws his hands at it and gets decent contact. The only problem, though, is that he hits it straight to Hetmyer at deep point, who makes no mistake at all. Another check for a front foot No ball but Paul has fared much better than Sinclair did on that front in the last over. The celebrations are in order, and that is a huge wicket for the Warriors! 73/2
8.4 miscued, and taken at long on! A vociferous celebration by Reifer, and look how much that means to the Warriors! Hard length, angling into off stump. Rutherford thinks he can play the pick-up pull but the ball gets big on him, meaning that he cloths it. Long on hares in, settles under it and then pouches it. Another potentially defining moment in this contest! 138/3
9.1 Tahir bounces back with a wicket, and catch Imran Tahir if you can now! Googly fizzed in full just outside off. Clarkson does not seem to pick it and goes through with his cross-batted hack. Only connects with fresh air and hears the death rattle soon after. Tahir is pumped, like always, and ends his celebration with his imitation of Cristiano Ronaldo's famous 'Siu' celebration! 139/4
9.4 Tahir has two in the over, and Tahir is off on his 100m sprint again! Usain Bolt, eat your heart out! Tossed up full outside off, drawing Smith forward. Smith is unsure of whether he wants to go full-tilt at it or punch at it. In the end, he does a bit of both and chops it towards Reifer, who runs around to his left at long off and gobbles up the chance! 139/5
17.6 that will be that! Pretorius hammers the final nail in the Patriots' coffin and the Warriors win a high-scoring contest by 40 runs! Banged in short again and this gets up much higher, meaning that Louis, who is wanting to flat-bat this, gets into an awkward mess. Skews it off the higher part of the bat and Hope, running back from extra cover, snares the chance. Embraces and smiles all around in the Warriors camp - they have won two out of two. Slightly glum faces in the Patriots setup - they have now lost three on the bounce! 226/10
13.1 timmbbbeerrrrrr! Zipped in quick and full on middle and off. Seems like the googly too because it deviates into John after pitching. John does not pick the variation and is also late in bringing his bat down, meaning that the ball has an unhindered path towards the stumps. The Patriots are now seven down! 175/7
14.2 Motie has another, and the Patriots slip closer to their third successive defeat! Zipped in full on the pads, denying Mohsin the swinging room he so desires. Still gets a good piece of it but the lack of elevation makes it a simple catch for Gurbaz at long on! 193/8
16.6 bat goes to square leg, ball goes to short third, and Permaul has to walk back to the dressing room! Back of a length outside off. Permaul tries to smoke this into the Caribbean Sea and loses shape completely. Loses his bat too but before the bat slipped out of his hands, the ball skewed off its outside edge. Easy catch for short third, and the Warriors are just one wicket away now! 212/9
