7.1 bowled him! Charles was looking to make room and smack this over mid-off, and Seales sneaks a full offcutter through him 41/3

4.3 got him. Turn and bounce again. Looks to make room to stab it square for an off-side single, and he ends up getting a thick edge that Simmons does really well to catch, diving to his right at slip 27/2

11.5 bowled him! The carrom ball, pitching on the perfect length outside off, and Reifer doesn't quite know which way he's going. Presses forward to defend, plays with bat slightly away from pad, and it spins in and zips through that gap to hit the top of leg stump 58/5

17.4 through him! Looks to flick, and ends up playing all around a quick ball on an almost yorker length, pitching just outside leg and going with the angle to crash into the stumps. Wide backlift suggests he was shaping to sweep, and Narine saw that and slipped in the quick, full ball 80/8

12.3 got him, Pollard takes the catch at second slip/gully. The attacking field was set, and Hosein dangles up the invitation outside off. Holder goes for the cover drive, and even though it's quite full, this pitch has something in it even for that sort of length. Spins away sharply, and Pollard does very well to grab this, because it's flying quickly to his left at about shoulder height. Takes it in both hands 59/6

12.5 is this a Test match? It really does look like it now. Round-arms it flat, on a good length, and gets it to turn and bounce from an off-stump line. Presses forward to defend, and pops it to gully off the outside shoulder of the bat 59/7

19.3 fullish outside off, and that's a superb catch at mid-off! Looks to drive on the up, ends up hitting it off the high part of the bat thanks to Seales' extra bounce, and he lifts it over mid-off, from where Tion Webster turns around, runs a few yards towards the boundary, and catches it on the juggle with the ball coming to him over his shoulder 88/9

0.1 Amir strikes first up! Lendl Simmons nicks off to the keeper, with the umpire raising his finger. Simmons is perplexed, but he does have to do. Amir leaps for joy, and the Royals have the perfect start in defence of this low total 0/1

2.5 the slower ball, and Mohammad Amir strikes again. Webster went through his shot much too early, and it hit the bottom of his bat. Lintott completes a smart catch at long-on, Amir sarcastically applauds the batsman off 22/2
