That's a wrap on today's CPL action. Thank you for joining us. This is Rashad Mahbub signing off on behalf of Chetan Kumar and Harshith Gowda. Goodbye!
Imad Wasim: "The intent was there, but we lost too many wickets. And to be honest, that was an Imran Tahir special. Can't do anything about it, but the way we played, the way we started off, if we had wickets in hand, we would have taken it deeper, and then anything could have happened at that time. Always stay positive. And if we don't learn from our mistakes, then for the next game we have to adapt. We have to be very smart about it. Who do we take on, and who do we not? And losing wickets in clusters might cost you games in a run chase. So that is the only thing concerning. But Imran Tahir special was Imran Tahir's special. Day games suit us. We have a very good side. We have a very good bowling unit, although it was a bit wet today. But before that and in the first overs, we were in the game. To be honest, Shepherd, Hetmyer, and Hope played really, really well, so sometimes you have to give credit to the team as well."
Player of the Match, Imran Tahir: "First of all, I feel really proud, especially taking the man of the match award from Sir Viv Richards. That does not happen often. I'm gonna cherish that forever. Very special. But look, to be honest with you, we had a good start. We knew the team we had if we got to 170-180, which has never been chased here in this ground. So we were very confident. They had a good shot. Obviously, put us a little bit on the back foot, but Motie and myself, we came back and tried to pick up the switch, which happened. I'm just really pleased things went well, personally, for me and for the team. In T20 cricket, you have to be on it from ball one, because it's something you always want it to be. And if you're here, you're going to give your best, and that's what I try to do every time I come: put this jersey back on my chest. And I just want to thank you all, the Guyanese fans. Met them a lot, and it looks like we're playing at home. I'm really, really grateful for them to come and support us. I always say it's hard work. As I mentioned before the game, we had a break, but we did have three very good sessions in hot conditions same night tonight - very hot, very humid. So I think it's a good thing that we never forget what we are here for, and that's what the team is. This team is about staying together. We enjoyed each other's success, and I think that's the team culture we had, and we hopefully carry on in the same way we started. We had a camp before we came into the competition. Our overseas players were there as well. Ben [McDermott] played really well in the last game. He was a bit unlucky, but I think the other guys took responsibility today; Hetty and Shai. I think you see the result. It's nice to see as a team we try our best, put our bodies on the line, and that's what I want to see as a captain. We've been really good again today; even in Saint Kitts, we were really good in the field. So proud of the boys and the way they fielded today as well. Personally, I'm very happy, but I think I'm just happy that it went well for the team. That time, they were in a good position; I needed to come and take wickets. That's what T20 Cricket is all about. Just trying to put the ball on my line and length, trying to pour my variations. Just really pleased with the way it came out."
11:35 pm Although the run chase was always going to be a difficult one for the home team, they started with a bang, hoping to chase down the total. Cornwall hit back-to-back boundaries in the first over but was dismissed immediately after. The Falcons had the start they wanted, scoring 58 runs in the first four overs, but lost both their openers in the process. Gore was spectacular in the Powerplay, scoring 31 runs off just 14 balls and setting a strong foundation for the innings. However, after Gore's dismissal, the run rate dropped dramatically. Imran Tahir, the Warriors captain, stepped into the attack and delivered a magnificent double-wicket maiden in his first over. He maintained his dominance, taking five wickets in total and recording his best bowling figures in T20 cricket. Shepherd and Pretorius both took two wickets, helping the Warriors' bowlers totally put an end to the chase.

Time to change the ball again; the shape is getting damaged due to the moisture on the ground.
Fahim Mahmud Ma: "At the age of 46, taking five-wicket hauls and consistently bowling economically is highly appreciable. His fitness is still too much good, truly top-notch."
Taabish: "I didn't watch a lot of Imran Tahir's international career but his energy and skill has sucked me in completely. Now I rush to watch every time he plays."
