12am That is that. Barbados Tridents slump to their third straight loss, while Tallawahs secure their second straight win. Dre Russ' team move to the top of the table. Powell punches his fist and gets a hug from de Grandhomme. Johnson Charles set up the chase of 152 with a rapid fifty, Powell then consolidated in the middle and guided his team home. Do stick around for the presentation
More from PDP on the Russell run-out: "He was lollygagging, outright jogging the run. Clearly thought Irfan was no chance to hit the stumps. Looks 10 times worse on replay than live."
Charles, Player of the Match: We need to have a clear mind. There was some extra bounce, he's 7 feet, and Irfan is hard to play. I don't really change my mindset against somebody like Irfan. Just bat with intent. I missed three games with injury but still in contention for most runs in the tournament.
Holder, Tridents captain: Not went our way today... Many edges behind the wicket, but we were still a couple of runs short. It was a tough wicket to bat on, but we were still 20-25 runs short. Credit to Guppy, he came back after being left out. We just need to keep more faith in the squad and go on. Stay behind us as much as possible (message to the crowd?)
Dre Russ, Tallawahs captain: The wicket grips with the drier ball, once the ball gets wet, it slides on. And Johnson Charles played the ball the way we wanted him to. The wicket got easier in the second half. Think Rovman played a good role. This two points is more important. We're going to St Kitts and Guyana, we have to keep it up there.
Hope you enjoyed our coverage as much as we did bringing it to you. Goodbye and good night for now
Tallawahs need just 4 off 18 balls
