9.25pm Guyana started poorly, but Hetmyer came out and made batting look ridiculously easy. His counter-attack ensured St Kitts bowlers couldn't settle into any kind of rhythm. It didn't help that their fielding was lackluster as well. Their best bowler on the night: Sandeep Lamichhane, who struck with his first ball on CPL debut. But they lacked the consistency and bite on a surface where the ball skidded on in the second innings largely because of dew.
That's that for tonight from the CPL. Hope to have your company tomorrow when Jamaica Tallawahs open their campaign against Trinbago Knight Riders, the defending champs. That game will come to you from Queen's Park Oval. Do stick around for Peter Della Penna's match bulletin that should be up shortly.
Shimron Hetmyer is the Player of the Match for his 45-ball 79 not out.
The Guyana Amazon Warriors pacer had sent off Australian Ben Cutting by giving him the middle finger with both hands after dismissing him during their clash against the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots
