9:02 pm Early trouble for the Warriors as they lost their openers early in the innings. The opening batter experiment failed, as Motie was dismissed in the third over. McDermott was given a life when Clarke dropped a straightforward catch in the first over. The Warriors then lost wickets in clusters throughout the innings, often due to overly aggressive shots. Shai Hope was a one-man army, scoring 39 runs before getting out bizarrely--clipping the stumps with his own bat. At one point, the Warriors were struggling to reach 120, but Pretorius and Sampson played crucial knocks in the death overs. The visitors should be happy with their performance, as they managed to post a decent total for their bowlers to work with. Akeal Hosein was brilliant with three wickets, leading a top-notch performance from the spinners. Amir and Narine were economical, both picking up a wicket, while Hinds also grabbed two.
