Ramon Simmonds: "I think our execution, in terms of the slow balls on a good length, was good, so I guess that's what we did, and we executed very well. [Plan for Warner Park] Honestly, it doesn't matter. Say the ground is all about execution, executing the yorkers and the slower balls, and hitting the top of off. So it was all for me; it was all about execution. [Wicket of Jason Holder] Because Jason seems like a big brother. Honestly, I've been working on it since after the Breakout, working on my slow balls. It's been a good few months for me in terms of practising those balls."

DaWolf: "Basseterre is a ground for a 200 score. 174 doesn't seem enough, Patriots will need wickets. Salamkheil key."

8:46 pm The Patriots got off to a shaky start, losing three wickets inside the Powerplay. Simmonds was the one doing the damage, picking up wickets in consecutive overs. To make things worse, debutant Mohammad Rizwan was clean bowled by a harmless-looking flighted delivery from Warrican in the last over of the Powerplay. Fletcher looked in great touch but fell to a slower ball from Sams. Holder and Mayers then began to rebuild the innings after the early collapse. Holder, however, was dropped on 22 runs by King at cover. He went on to score a quick 38 off 21 balls before being caught out at long off by another slower delivery from Daniel Sams. Mayers was the top scorer for his side with 42 runs. The Royals' fielding once again got messy in the final and middle overs, as Quinton de Kock missed an opportunity to run out Naseem Shah, who then went on to hit two massive sixes at the death. For the Royals, Simmonds was the star bowler, picking up three wickets, while Sams bagged two by varying his line and lengths. The Royals will be happy to restrict them below the par score.

It was a slower delivery from Bosch, and Naseem Shah skies it high in the air towards mid-off. James collects it, sends a bullet throw at the striker's end, and QDK has fumbled it behind the stumps! Naseem Shah was nowhere near the scenario when the ball arrived at the striker's end, but QDK clipped the bails off before collecting the ball!
